Can you recommend an online course you’ve recently done?

Im looking to return to working hopefully in admin/secretarial but definitely need to brush up on skills.

Ive googled and seen a few courses but would appreciate recommendations and did they help you secure a new job?

thank you

For brushing up your Excel skills, you can't go wrong with Leila Gharani on YouTube - here's her playlist for Excel for Beginners:

And for PowerPoint, One Skill PowerPoint:

Look at future learn. They do a wide range of free on line courses on every topic. I’ve done a few with them and found them useful c

I've done a couple of these - this one and the GDPR one and they were definitely beneficial in getting my admin role, my employer liked that I'd gained quals off my own back in preparation.

I second Leila Gharani on you tube for excel. Also Alison free excel courses, you do have to sit through advertising but some of the excel stuff is great. I love excel, it's such a powerful tool. If you can get to the stage where you can do pivot tables you'll be an asset to many businesses!

Thank you all for your responses. I shall look into all of these suggestions. There is a lot more out there than I had realised.

This will help immensely. I can update skill/learn new skills in the evenings when kids are in bed. And once I feel confident again I will do some volunteering in admin posts before applying for a job. I’ve been out of the working environment for over 5 years now and I am a little nervous.
Thanks so much for you help!
