I think I've just been unintentionally abrupt/rude with one of my boss's contacts. I get all sorts of cold calls from a similar number which I didn't recognise.
I suppose I will just have to apologise. I'm over thinking this now about how rude I sounded

Just apologise, surely? Everyone gets loads of junk calls, they should understand.
