Rights when returning back to work

I'm returning to work soon after taking 12 months maternity. It appears that my employer may add more duties to my job which are currently out of the scope of my job specification. These duties will be in addition to what I was previously doing and there will not be any recognition (extra salary). I was wondering what my rights are with regards to this? The extra duties are from a recent redundant position. My position previously was not great as I was carrying out duties for 2 positions.

There are only so many hours in a day though. Are you expecting to be made to work overtime?

They don't pay for overtime. I do not intend to go back full time like I was previously either so carrying out the two positions I was previously doing will already be hard to cram in as part time (let alone more duties from another job position).
