When are the maternity pay qualifying weeks?

I’ve been signed off sick at 29 weeks. Will this affect my maternity pay (SMP 90% wages for 6 weeks then 33 weeks at £150 or whatever it is)

I read that it can affect your maternity pay if you go sick before qualifying weeks.

No it's fine. Qualifying week is 15 weeks before the week your baby is due. So basically 25 weeks. Our place has an 8 week qualifying period from 17-25 weeks. I went off sick at 31 weeks and my mat pay was fine.
