Hi all, I’m currently looking for another job. At the moment I work for the local primary care network as a care coordinator. I have seen the below advertised and I was wondering what people thought? Has anyone worked for the council before? If so, what was your experience like?

This Customer Service role is based at the Front Door of Children’s Social Care and is situated within the Children’s Single Point of Access (C-SPA) and Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH). C-SPA/MASH plays an integral part in supporting the most vulnerable children and families, as well as being the first contact point for professionals and members of the public. The Customer Service Officers are the first point of contact via email, portal or phone.

Duties will include:-

Dealing with telephone enquiries, taking messages and alerting Social Work staff
Monitoring generic mailboxes and picking up tasks
Preparing documents using Microsoft Word
Updating spreadsheets using Excel
Creating and uploading documents to our bespoke database Liquid Logic (training will be provided)
