Looking to return to the NMC register full time. Currently on the temporary covid nurse register but not been offered any employment ( so much for nurse shortages)
Anyone done the online competency test or attended university.....ours only has one intake a year

I did it in 2019 before covid so it was done at university. The university part of it was a complete unorganised farce but the placement was good. Everyone got a job at the end of it. I had a job lined up before I started so I was able to do my placement on that ward.
I started in the march, finished in the May and got my pin back in August.

Sorry I meant to reply then got distracted.
The maths test was ok actually. Just the usual of converting mg to mcg and vice versa. Working out how to split into equal doses, working out how many mls an hour on a drop and working out a dose based on weight.
I found loads of practice tests online and the rcn had some maths tests on their cpd section.

Thank you. Hope you enjoying your job. Found some online test's via the nmc
