Bloody recruiters!

I have had 3 interviews for a role, last one was a task based interview and took me hours to prep for.

They called straight after to check I was interested in the role and gave feedback that the employer really liked me, was impressed etc. Then said no offer would come until today due to processes their end.

So far I’ve heard nothing today. Does it sound like the usual hot air from recruiters? I’ve had some bad experiences with job roles falling through including one rescinded offer 2 days before my start date so perhaps I’m too negative!!

No. It sounds like their client has told them an offer is imminent, but would presumably take until today due to the weekend.

Yeah, just relax and try and forget about it for a few days. We are always recruiting and never provide firm dates on when we will have a decision because even when it's a 'yes' there is quite a bit of admin and approval required before we can get an offer out.

You have done all that you can. Your best task now is either to put it out of your mind entirely or get another iron in the fire by applying someplace else.

Never hurts to have a choice of new roles. All the best.
