I have just signed up to work for Accuro. I have just set my account up today and hoping to get started next week with some typing

I can’t see a thread on here for Accuro and thought it would be good to hear if anyone here works for them typing, what your experience has been like and maybe help each other out.

Always have had a lot of dictation sent across for typing but recently I have been getting none at all. Is this also happening to anyone else?

It is a lot less for sure but I have had a good couple of days work yesterday and today.

Any tips on getting through the online transcription test for accuro transcription. I am a medical secretary and have had several attempts but it keeps saying fail with no hint as to what needs correcting. I feel that I have completed correctly?

VillageLife 82, I've worked for them since they bought out P-UK in 2024 but the work is sporadic and not consistent. I work for AD and CP. Do I need to contact someone to ask about a reliable workload?

Ad is in charge of allocating work. May be worth asking her what's going on. Are you not getting the minutes you're requesting?

I have done work for Accuro on and off since 2019 and am looking at getting back into it (my self-employed client has now outsourced their work to them) but does anyone else struggle with the Accuro Express software being really clunky and difficult to use?

Hello, I wanted to ask about accuro medical transcriptionist role.

I just did a typing test as it said I failed.

I tried this 4 times and kept saying the same thing.

But it does not give you feedback on why you have failed.

I have previous typing experience with the NHS so to see I have failed really disheartened me.

I personally feel my typing was accurate. Without any spelling mistakes either.

I felt I was accurate.

I wasn't fast fast as I have been out of touch but I do also have dyspraxia and learning impairments. So when I start something I can be slow but the more I do it the better and faster I become.

Secondly I don't have a foot pedal and my hot keys on my Mac keyboard didn't work. So I had to click on the audio to pause and rewind.

I feel extremely disheartened right now.

Any tips ? Has anyone else failed the typing test before applying for the freelance job?

Ive just done the transcriptionist role test too, I did have to pause and type too. I was quite careful of punctuation and spelling too. But it failed .. not sure at all why! Bit disheartened to be honest!!!
