Job interviews with social anxiety

Hi all,
I'm looking to start the job hunt again but dreading the interviews because I have really bad social anxiety at times. I'm at talking therapy but some days it's so awful that it feels like nothing helps. I work in professional services and have a good CV with lots of experience but I just can't overcome the dread. It doesn't help that I'm just back from maternity leave, it did something weird to my confidence and made me feel more anxious than before :( Anyone in the same boat? any tips / advice welcome
Thanks a lot in advance

Most places now ask on the application form or when they issue an interview application if you require any adjustments
This is your opportunity to identify anything you would like them to do which will enable you ... eg could they conduct the interview on phone rather than video
You could work with your therapist to identify these adjustments and also possibly explain why your anxiety is a much bigger problem in interviews than it would be on the role

i can totally empathise with you.
I was in the same job for 15 years and had decided to retrained at college so had to apply for a new job. I knew I had the qualifications, my Cv was great and I had some experience in the field but my anxiety was through the room. Even filling in the application my heart rate was through the roof.
So when I got the interview you can imagine. The morning of my interview My heart rate on my Fitbit was 145 , I could feel my heart pumping in my chest and my ears too and my full body was shaking. I always try and eat a banana in stressful situation because it does make me feel a bit calmer, I’m not sure why but it does.
I just kept telling myself to Believe in myself and be confident. It obviously worked because I got the job.
good luck, you’ve got this!
