New job, manager wants to have a 'chat'

Hi all. I start a new job mid February and I've been sent the contract just need to send it off signed. I've just had an email from the manager to say she would like me to give her a quick call tomorrow. I'm really worried they've decided to retract the offer or my DBS check hasn't gone through even though I've never had a criminal record or ever been in trouble. Can't stop overthinking! Help!

It's pretty standard for a manager to get in touch and do an intro call/general welcome & what to expect - I think you're panicking over nothing

I wouldn’t worry, they’re probably just checking in to see if you’re all on track to start on the agreed date and give you more information. I do it quite often with new recruits

I would presume it's a welcome package introduction
