I have a remote interview this week for NHS position it’s not patient facing. Any advice? I used to work for NHS left about 5 years ago to raise family I’m now working in primary care.
I really want this job as it will lead to a good career path and it’s something I’m really interested in.
it’s a remote interview, what to wear? Is a patterned shirt with blazer too loud?
what questions to ask them? I’ve researched the trust, what kind of scenario questions may they ask if any?
thanks in advance 😊

if you have the job description then I’d have points for all the ways you fit the person specification, drawing on examples. be able to frame your experience and interests into anything they ask generally re your interest in the role. Sounds like you’ve got that passion and interest so should be easy.

I think that should be fine re dress sense, as long as you look smart! Make sure your camera is at eye view and you’re looking into it. Dunno how many remote interviews you do but I like to have my notes at eye view on a word processor so I can skip about whilst still looking engaged

good luck!

(Interviewed with the NHS during Covid for a graduate level role, took ages and accepted another role by the time they got back to me)

Thank you for your advice I’ll go through the Jd and taken notes.
good tip re the camera angle! I don’t do much video conferencing currently so this is good to hear in mind!
