Commuting Milton Keynes to London

Hi guys, hoping you can help! DH will start a job in London near Liverpool Street Underground soon and he needs to commute from Milton Keynes. He would need to drive into the train station then take that in and then the underground I guess. Could you advise what's the cheapest way to do all that?

Get a season ticket on the train including London zone 1 or get a railcard and then get tickets? And what about parking costs at the train station?

Thanks, we're new to Milton Keynes so not sure of the options available!

Will he be expected in 5x per week?
If not, how many days at home and how any in office.

Whereabouts in MK do you live and will you be going to CMK station?
Depending on your location and the train, you might find it easier (and parking cheaper) to go from Wolverton or Bletchley and possibly Flitwick or L.Buz.
