Im leaving a permanent role which I was very very unhappy at to go and work for a pharmaceutical company on a 9 month contract. The company is well known for looking after staff. At first I didn't want to take it as there's international travel involved and it's a contract.
I spoke to the manager and she confirmed to me it's basically a long probation period and majority of people get their contract extended or become permanent. It's a fantastic place to work I'm just worried about it affecting my CV after moving jobs twice in a year and it might not result in becoming a permanent job. Has anyone taken the risk and done similar?
