New start at wrong side of 50

As the subject states.
I recently lost my job wasn’t there for long, the environment wasn’t for me so was almost a welcome relief. I was the oldest in the team and boss often made reference to that.
Have any MNeters started a completely new type of job or retrained with 50 just round the corner?

I’m not money hungry as live a very modest life, I’m looking more to be happy and fulfilled.

Do you have something particular in mind?

I’ve always worked within an administrative/office environment so thinking maybe something different.
