Hi
I’ll be starting a new job in an NHS community team admin based. I just wondered do community (non patient facing) staff have Xmas day off and bank holidays?

I'm NHS community and all the team are off bank holidays. I imagine it could vary though team to team.
We book our AL and BH leave separately on the system ( so book the BH leave even when the department is closed if that makes sense ).
I think it's highly likely you'll be off, but you'll need to double check the teams working hours.

I work in a nhs community mental health team. Clinicians are on a rota to do Christmas and bank holidays - no admin are in on those days.

Some community teams work weekends/BHs, but the admin don't.

Depends on the service you work for. Where I work we don't work weekends or bank hols. Mon-fri 9-5.

Depends where u work, our admin are integral to our work so they still need to provide cover weekends and bank holidays. Obviously shared out as fairly as possible x
