I'm almost 30 weeks pregnant, informed my manager at 12 weeks, filled in the relevant paperwork and sent it off to them to then pass on to HR, basically did all I needed to do.
After that I heard nothing from anyone regarding paperwork, risk assessments etc so I chased this up in December when sending over my matb1 form and had my very first risk assessment carried out a couple of weeks ago, they admitted there should have already been two previous risk assessments carried out before that point as I'm now in my third trimester and told me I would hear from them with confirmation of maternity leave start date, how long I can take etc
I have called and emailed since then to get confirmation of my finish date which will hopefully be in 4 weeks time and also get a SMP1 form from them as I won't qualify for smp from them and will need to claim MA but I'm being completely ignored. I'm fed up chasing because someone isn't doing their job but I'm just wondering where I stand with this, where do I go from here?
