How to stealth-search for a job

Hi, in my industry it would be the norm to find a job through networking, either at in person events or on LinkedIn.

However, all my colleagues at current role are very active on LinkedIn. I don't want them to know I'm looking. Is there a way of putting myself out there as available for work without individually dm'ing everyone in my network?

Thanks for your thoughts!

Sign up to a recruiter?

Use Reed and Indeed

In LinkedIn you can say you are open to work for recruiters without the green 'Open for Work' status on your profile.

Select ”Share with recruiters only.” When you choose this option, only a small subset of recruiters on LinkedIn are notified, namely those whose organisations have paid for access to LinkedIn’s “LinkedIn Recruiter” platform.
