Hi so I was wondering if anyone had any advice.

I was asked by my manager when I wanted to start the new job so I chose a date about 3/4 weeks from now. I was also told to come and visit two weeks before my first day to have a look around and arrange uniform but I haven't received any induction/training information yet and the person I spoke to didn't mention anything of the sort. I'm new to the Nhs and not sure what to expect so is this normal?

Apparently the NHS. Are notoriously shit for this, people wait months esp for DRB checks. (I'm an NHS dinosaur who went into a job straight from Uni)

Hi I worked with the nhs for five years! It is incredibly slow and they usually would give you all information in email or in person when they see you. I remember my induction being class room based which I’m sure is where they’ll sort uniform etc and then training on the ward. I can’t really remember it but I knew it was long winded and they weren’t in a rush with anything. Maybe contact the person that will be your manager about all your concerns and she will talk you through what will be happening or how it will happen xxx

I meant DBS (used to be CRB checks!)
