Civil service customer service job interview questions

I would appreciate it if someone could pls kindly give examples on how to answer this questions at a job interview pls especially the 1st question. Thanks in advance

1. Tell me about the time when you have had to make an objective and impartial decision.

2. Do you agree it is important to follow a process and to operate within set rules and guidelines?

3. Are you someone who enjoys seeking out new information?

4. How do you ensure people understand what you are trying to explain?

5. Tell me about a time where you used your communication skills effectively resulting in a successful outcome?

6. Can you describe a time when you have concentrated on improving the service that customers recieve and how you went about doing this?

7. Tell us about a time you have delivered at pace

Use the STAR format to answer your questions, cut out all the fluff and concentrate on providing detailed evidence of what you did and why and impacts etc. I'm a CS interviewer

Use the Star method. You need to focus on what you did. Give examples for evidence, so for the objective decision question say what options were possible and why you discounted some and went forward with the other.

It was a simple interview and richard mcmunn's videos (YouTube) on civil service job interviews helped a lot and I recommend you watch and PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE
