Am such a moron - have just really screwed up my first job application for three years

I'm such an idiot.

Emailed my cv to recruitment consultant, called Laura, only to start the email "Dear Lucy"...

Now what? She replied to say she would get back to me today, she hasn't (and if I were her and busy, would I bother with someone who can't even get her name right? No), so do I brazen it out, or forget it?

I'm never going to amount to much again. Its so depressing.

its no big deal- she may not have even looked at that bit ....dont fret if u feel brave enuf call her and remind her dont worry hun and good luck ....

She's a recruitment consultant so she should be on your side. And IME RCs have the hide of a rhino. She has jobs that need filling and can't afford to be precious about someone getting her name wrong.

Thanks. Those were the words I needed to hear! If she doesn't call today I will just have to be brave and face it head on tomorrow by calling her.
