NHS jobs from one trust to another

Hi,

currently looking at moving from a band 3 to a 4.
if I move trusts do they use the same references that were used when I started at this trust? Or would they need to completely re-request them?
or do they just request current employer and use old references from this job.

We ask for three years' worth unless you are already working for our health board / trust. We don't re-use old references.

They are normally done again, even staying in the same trust we redo them
