NHS commissioning role

I have an interview for a commissioning role in the ICB. I’m going to prep on the core values, behaviours & the strategic aim regarding the area I’ve applied for. Can anyone give me any other tips, there’s a 30 min assessment any idea what that could be?

Is this your first NHS role ?

What band is it?

The NHS love a situational question so look at the STAR technique to answer.

I’ve been in the nhs for 16 years & a band 7 manager for 4 years. But never worked in an ICB.

The ICB's massively overband their roles, so if you're going for 8A you'll only have to interview like a 6, you'll be grand!

Ive successfully secured 2 band roles before, but this is my dream job in a really tricky area of health currently, so it’s the assessment that concerns me.

National Background and context? Eg long term plan, guidance, pending legislation?
