Part Time Term Time Jobs

Hi there

I have been a Stay At Home Mum for the past 3 years.

I have two young children but am looking for a part time term time position.

Ideally an Admin Assistant position, I am unsure of where to start looking for roles and if these roles even exist;-(

Any advice on which sites to search, agencies to sign up with would be much appreciated.

Thank you

Look for your local school jobs website. Mine is Essex School Jobs.

try your local job centre for suggestions.

good luck!

Try and contact the schools and ask where they advertise if they have available positions. I'm in Kent so most jobs go on Kent Teach website, obviously don't know about other areas.
I work part time in a school doing a sort of admin role. Hours are great, holiday time is lovely, pay is rubbish. I love it though.

Years ago I wanted similar, I didn't get anything due to lack of school admin experience and was encouraged to offer some volunteering.

Good luck 🤞

Education (schools, colleges, adult ed providers), local council or civil service. County council websites often bring ads for public service roles together.

Universities too, well as other educational places as people have mentioned

For schools have a look at the websites for the TES and Green Sheets. Also have a look at the vacancies on individual school websites.

Councils are often flexible so check out your local councils vacancies.
