Pre-interview assessment on Indeed

Hi,

I'm currently job hunting and applied for some through Indeed.

I’ve received requests from some employers to complete a written skills assessment. If you’ve done the assessment, would you be willing to give an idea of what it entails?

Reviews of the assessment are quite negative and, given that you cannot repeat the test for 6 months, I’d like to prepare but I’m having difficulty finding anything online.

Those indeed assessments are a pile of tosh, I wouldn’t worry about them….

I had to do an assessment on Indeed once, though I can't remember exactly what it was now as it was nearly a year ago. I do remember it being quite easy though and definitely nothing to worry about. It's nothing like the tests you have to do to get onto grad schemes with the big companies. You'll be fine.

It's just answering multiple choice questions. So for example a question could be around time management and give you a scenario where you need to fit in an appt for somebody but need to be ready to leave for a meeting by a certain time so where is the best time to fit it.. the test is usually timed but you do get quite a bit of time for them

The thing that annoyed me with them is that you don't find out how you did in them, it just goes straight to the employer without you knowing the results of it
