For example Next / Littlewoods / Grattan?
Im thinking about doing it part-time, although I dont know where to start or much about it.
I did used to know someone that did it part time, and she quite enjoyed it, but I dont see her now, so I cant really ask her about it. Thanks

My mum does it and it is bloody hard work. She has to give her phone number to customers (for when they want to return things) and the phone never stops. People ring up at 6:00am on a Sunday morning. She has to go to a depot to collect all the parcels in the morning and sometimes, (if it is a busy day) she has to do 2 trips as she can't get everything in her car. She uses her own car so therefore has to pay extra on insurance. And the pay is crap!! Trying to think of something positive but struggling. Gets no discount from Next either as she is not employed by them (can't remember the company name). She is also self employed so has to do her own tax etc.

Sounds like fun then? Why does she carry on doing it? If you dont mind me asking. Is it Parcelnet that she works for?
Thanks for replying

Yes, think it is Parcelnet. She does it for the "crap" money!!! She is over retirement age and doesn't want to get into applying for jobs again etc.
