I think I'm going to fail my probation

I went for a new job.Complete sideways move.Different hrs and same industry.
From the start the team very v quite.
One woman only answered with a um ha.
I thought she was just quiet.
Other woman bit more chatty so all good.
For a few weeks they have been chatty and giggling together.
100% it is about me.
When I ask anything I get one word answers.
I thought I had sussed it last week when the chatter one admitted she applied for the role I currently have.
She didn't get it.
Now I'm getting the cold shoulder even though we often have to work as a team.
It is a hideous feeling as I've never failed a probation in my life and I'm in my 50s.
What can I realistically do.
I'm asking my boss btw.

Your boss told you he had had a complaint about your work in front of colleagues?

Yes.She kicked off at me when I overheard her say we would be done quicker if she worked harder meaning me.
I have excellent hearing so said we could swop tasks.
Don't moan just swop.
After a while she told me she wouldn't take orders from me bosses overheard and came to see what was going on.proper raised voice.
I pointed out I was actually doing important legally required stuff but stopped to do some grind work.
Would gladly do it on an every other day basis.
I also said if I failed probation so be it to which I was reassured I hadn't.
Tbh that made me feel better.
He said I should talk to X and I pointed out I had tried to chat to her on numerous occasions.
Maybe it will be better tomorrow who knows.
It's been one of my worst experience s in decades tbh.

Well I passed my probation.
My senses were right though one of my colleagues reported me to higher managers for such petty things my boss said it wasn't worth mentioning.
I knew they had been bitching and gossiping but as far as I know they have been spoken to.
It's been like going back to school.I cant believe someone tried to get me fired.

You need to lodge a grievance in regards to work place bullying.I feel the colleague who didn't get the job is attempting to either get you to quit or have your fired;unfortunately for her now you've passed probation you'd have to go through the company disciplinary processes in order to be dismissed from your position.

Even if you were to leave/be dismissed there's a good chance she wouldn't end up with the job anyway.

People can be very petty.

You are right.She applied before I got there and made so many comments to me I was doubting myself.I spoke to my boss who has had a word.I only want a professional relationship and not one where there is an atmosphere.
She was apparently like this to the previous lady who she rang today to arrange meeting with all friendly.
The word I got is she can like it or leave herself.
