I'm off following major surgery to rectify an ongoing illness. Prior to the surgery, I had about a day off a month and this was due to the illness. I was also told by the deputy (I have this in a text) to stay off whilst awaiting some potentially life changing test results and I thought work were being pretty supportive.
I've never had an informal meeting about my sickness absences and so I am shocked to find that I now have a formal meeting.
Thoughts? I'm beside myself.
