Local/ Central Government - Democratic Services//Executive Officer

Just trying to find a comparable role so that I can check my salary. It’s not been increased for four years and I have just been made aware that my hourly rate is 50p an hour more than the most junior role. My role is administrative but I need to ensure that we comply with national standards that relate to the industry otherwise we could lose our rating. I think it would compare to a Democratic Services role in local government or Executive Officer in central government.

Thanks so much for that. I will have a look. It may be that they are overpaying the more junior role but it will be interesting to have a guide.
