Has anyone started preparing their business for possible energy blackouts this winter?

Hi, I'm working for a charity and I need to work on a plan for our staff/premises should there be energy blackouts this winter. We also hire venues on a weekly basis from other companies and it's becoming a bit of a pain trying to get others to respond to me with their plans!

Has anyone else started to do this? Would be interested in what you've done if you feel like sharing?
TIA

The company i work for have. It's domcillary care so a lot of service users rely on electricity. We have instructions on what to do for air flow mattresses during a black out and they have asked service users to get torches not candles. I am going to have to get myself a head torch come next payday.

I am sure this is a naïve comment but can't you ask work to buy one for you?

Thanks, all. I've had some replies from venues - all saying they have no plans to close but none of them have a generator (for example). Not sure how that'll work.
Work with children with SEN/D so any sudden outage during our services could become a huge issue for the children.
