Anyone got benefits today instead of Monday.

Hi, I recently lost my job through I'll health and was put on ESA. As I was supposed to be paid the 19th, it's now a bank holiday, was told we would be getting it today. Checked my bank account and nothing in there. Has anyone received it today? Thankyou.

Not received State pension yet.

Maybe payments will take a bit longer as it's such a short notice bank holiday. Like, maybe this afternoon or in the night or something.

I got Carers allowance today which is always paid on a Monday 4 weekly x

I think it could be as JanglyBeads said, the banks and other systems were caught on the hop. Hope it does come through.

They will be dropping in throughout the day rather than the normal first thing in the morning.

Great news 👍 When I was employed, got made redundant during lockdown, the pay was always after the bank holiday. Payslips were online the Friday before though
