Quit my job, Quarter life crisis?

Hey everyone,

I was just looking for some advice really,

I am 28F and i recently quit my office job due to bullying and it has been a huge weight off my shoulders. For context, i could do this as i live at home and hardly have any bills. Now, i have a degree but i really suffer with social anxiety due to my last job and i want to improve my skills.

Is it weird that i want a job like a host at a club or a bartender? I worked in a cafe and loved it, i know the money is crap like. And this is really fucking stupid, but a Hooters just opened in my city and i wish i could just work in a place similar, i think i am going through a quater life crisis. I am currently overweight (currently losing it) and not feeling the best about myself, i am all over the place?

Any advice or wise words??
Thank you

I think perhaps you need to take some time out (if you can afford to) to build yourself back up again.

You say you have social anxiety. Working in a club/bar or somewhere like Hooters will surely be the opposite of what you'd actually want right? Those jobs require you to be very social and very confident.

To me, it sounds like you think that if you get one of those jobs, you'll automatically become one of those confident people, but unfortunately it doesn't work like that.

What did you do as your office job? Could you find something similar part-time?

I’ve been bullied out of my job at twice your age. Do whatever you have to do to re establish your confidence. Bullying takes a huge toll on mental health especially when you already have social anxiety.
