I’m being fucked over royally by hr. Help!

I made a b&h claim at the start of the year. I didn’t go formal. All manner of attempts have been made by managers and hr to minimise and sweep the issue under the rug.

Ive now said I’m leaving the job because of b&h and it’s like all hell as broke lose. HR are denying every knowing about this issue even though I have many emails sent to them. They are trying to save their own skin in front of the new investigating manager and I’m honestly done with it all.

The stress is fucking horrendous.

You need to follow the company policy - it may not be too late to start, but if you've left the job anyway it's not clear what you are looking for here. Informal complaints are not likely to be acted on.

Astonished at the recommendations for ACAS. I have contacted them perhaps 3 times in my career. Never had a helpful conversation yet. The employment helpline from my household insurance - a different matter. Spot on advice - clear, quoting appropriate legislation, not woolly (looking at you ACAS again).
I dont belong to a union. I tried to join when I restarted my career in education - to be told we will take a £100 subscription but your issues we can't help with (support staff not teaching). No thanks - I'll use that money elsewhere then.

Don't out yourself with details but what was the reason you did not go formal?

You have my sympathies op, bullying at work is extremely stressful. When I experienced it I left for another role. The whole place had a toxic culture due to one manager and it just wasn't worth the strain on my mental health.
