I am so nervous, that my legs have been shaking most of today. I really really want this job. It sounds so good, it's part time, the pay is really good, and it sounds like it'll be really interesting. Done my hair, got my suit out to wear, although the trousers are too long on me so you can't even see my boots. It's at 3:45 tonight. I've been writing out most of what I'm going to say as they had sent me in the application pack what they're looking for and they will want experiences and examples for them, so I've got a long list of that. Wish me luck xxxxxxxx

That's fantastic!!!! Good luck! Will keep my fingers crossed at 3.45PM.

What job you're applying for exactly?

Gobbledigook · 24/11/2004 12:21

Yeah TB - what job is it?

Branster · 24/11/2004 12:21

Can you shorten the trousers by then? Or wear incredibly high heels so you don't thread on them?

tammybear · 24/11/2004 12:21

It's actually good to work for them because they're quite flexible with working hours.

tammybear · 24/11/2004 16:43

back, think i completely messed it up Oh well fingers crossed til next week. They have had interviews all today, and again all tomorrow so think my chances may be slim of getting it, but hopefully ive done okay.

OP posts:
fairydust · 24/11/2004 16:45

why do you think you messed up?

tammybear · 24/11/2004 16:47

When they were asking me questions, took me a while to think of answers as they wanted examples of when I had been in particular situations etc and some of them I don't think I answered the actual question and started going on about something completely different But who knows, maybe I did do okay.

TB, all the interviews I think I cocked up on offered me the job. And the fact that you took time to answer the questions shows ..... reflection

tammybear · 24/11/2004 16:51

hope so carla

OP posts:
Branster · 24/11/2004 18:42

when will they let you know TB?

I think most aplicants are hesitant and don't always give the exact answer on competency based questions (i.e. examples of particular situations)so don't worry about that aspect of the interview.
they'll know how to extract the information they need from what you've told them.

Good luck still then!!!
