Pregnancy and starting a new job

I am 25 weeks pregnant and starting a new job next week. My new workplace and manager is aware of the pregnancy and I only signed the contract after I told them and knowing they are fully aware. My current role was not going anywhere and I have been dissatisfied for a while, after knowing about my pregnancy, they refused to take me for projects and while many in my similar role were promoted, even the routine 1 on 1's were cancelled for me. This led me to look after roles and after getting 4 offers I have selected one. My question is: I am feeling nervous and my old frenemyimposter syndromeis rising its head. I also wonder if I can ask my new employer wfh and time off for appointments. Would really appreciate some insights. Thank you!

Regarding time off for appointments, they’re obliged to allow you to attend and would be subjecting you to maternity discrimination if they refused.

You allowed time off for appointments.

WFH home is subject to working needs. Can’t answer that one.

Really don't worry too much about it. work has to give time for appointments (that you don't need to make up) plus they have a duty to give you a risk assessment. occupational health may recommend that you be allowed to wfh and may even reduce your hours on full pay if you're struggling with health issues/anxiety. I was in the same position a few months ago and had both these recommendations implemented. I ahd explained how worried I was about covid and commuting 2 hours each way.
