Employment tribunal - free legal advice? Does it exist?

I have a case that I have submitted.

Acas are guiding me in terms of wording, and which forms etc etc but they do not give advice.

Citizens advice have given me the bare minimum really and have said sorry they cant help that much.

I have tried legal clinics, solicitors for a free half hour, law departments at universities.

I really don't want to withdraw my claim but the other side have a solicitor and are threatening all sorts, i just need some help.

Any employment legal advisors on here at all?

Very difficult at the moment as most solicitors are working flat out,and like most people can't afford to work for free

I'm in a similar boat.
I joined Which Legal for £30 plus £9 month subscription, I get to talk to a qualified employment solicitor whenever I want they can't review documents but they have provided some advice that's helped me and can signpost to other resources and basically be a bit of a help for a relatively low fee.

It was worth the spend for me.

I'm hoping my ex employer will settle through conciliation if not I'll put in a claim and represent myself as a litigant in person.

Second this re Home Insurance. Ours covered a full tribunal including representation.

I’ve run pro bono (entirely free) cases before for people who have suffered discrimination who deserve help and who have good prospects of winning.

Ive also done no win no fee work for high value cases with good prospects.

So yes, it’s possible, but difficult to find.

Home insurance is your best bet!

Ime it’s very difficult to find free good quality legal advice for a tribunal. I definitely think legal insurance is worth it.
