Covid and pregnancy in office

Hi all

Looking for just advice really.
Everyone is literally falling down with covid in my office. Some I've been sat close with and sharing kitchen with. There is a much more laid back attitude now towards covid especially in our office, no one in masks etc. I understand as we are all wanting to get back to normal.

Only thing is I'm 25 weeks pregnant. And I'm not due to leave on maternity until early July. I'm still expecting in but I'm so nervous. I am fully vaccinated.

We are an office of about 60 people. We have now been asked to all be in minimum 3 days a week.

Would you still come in even if you felt uncomfortable ? Sad

Well update. Good job I hadn't planned to go in today. A colleague's son tested positive for covid last night but colleague is still in office today 🙄 someone I work close with. Really is fend for yourself sometimes.

Definitely the right call and really inconsiderate of your colleague. I'm in third trimester and my midwife told me yesterday that if I don't have to go out anywhere I should stay home because covid is so rife in our area at the moment. She was really firm on wearing masks and only meeting people if they LFT-ed and ventilated the space. And I'm triple vaxxed!

I know it feels like a scary thought to catch it, but I am 23 weeks pregnant and caught it a fortnight ago. Felt like a cold. Myself, my family and the baby have all been fine.

Thank you that's reassuring

It's just so awful that we are having to worry about this and I feel like I can't fully enjoy my pregnancy Sad I've hardly been out anywhere and I'm stuck indoors. Feel quite low about it to be honest.

Why are you stick indoors though? Get yourself outside in the fresh air outside working hours/ in your lunch break! Outside is extremely low risk!
