Context - I need to plan a campaign in keeping with each P&L's objective.

Thanks.

It's profit and loss in my world too (marketing).

ZoeTheThornyDevil · 08/02/2022 16:11

In that context, I'd say it means each aggregated business unit and they're using P&L as a shorthand for how they define each individual business.

CorrBlimeyGG · 08/02/2022 16:13

They're referring to a business unit.

SapphosRock · 08/02/2022 16:15

Business unit makes sense. Thank you both.

It’s the initials of my grandparents’ first names.

Not helpful to you, though, sorry, unless you want to turn it into a royal connection with Philip and Lillibet. Wasn’t HM the Q called Lillibet or Lillibeth by family?

I thought you were planning an advertising campaign with other P&Ls turned into profit and loss with your business.

Agree with others - you own a P&L when you own a business unit. It is still profit and loss but just for that particular unit as opposed to the whole company
