NHS recruitment - am I just being impatient ?

Please can anyone advise on NHS recruitment timescales ? I need to know if I am just being impatient, but I have no job currently and need to know rough timescales.
I have been offered 2 verbal job offers, one last tuesday and one last thursday, one is a bank contract. I have heard nothing from HR from either nor has the TRAC app updated. I can understand not having had any notification from the thursday one, but would have expected some kind of email confirmation for the one I accepted last tuesday ? Can anyone that has recently gone through this advise on timescales ? I know they must be busy as there are so many NHS vacancies advertised at the moment.

Nhs are notorious for being very slow at recruiting and getting paperwork out. I would give them till end of the week and then chase up with the manager who interviewed you. Be prepared to chase things up to get stuff moving! I interviewed for a bank position mid November and was able to start on 10th January, but that was with a lot of chasing and I didn't have any notice to give.

I applied for my current role in the August, started new job in January and that was moving between departments in the same Trust. Painfully slow process.

Don't be afraid to chase HR admin to check things on track

Thanks both. It's very frustrating but I do still have other jobs I've applied for that I would like more so I guess it may work in my favour. Just worried about having no earnings and was at least hoping to get the bank work up and running soon.
