If a staff member called you this at work. Would you expect there to be some consequences or would an apology be enough.

Just to everyone saying if someone says your lazy you probably are. Noone has ever called me lazy before in my life. The other aggressive incidents were not accusations of laziness. Thanks again to everyone who replied reasonably

@MrsPelligrinoPetrichor

Well yeah, normally the ones who cry the loudest are guilty of what they are being accused of! Maybe he's sick of having to pick up after her? Who knows.

He does not pick up after me! Jesus

@Guineapigbridge

Are you taking ownership of why he might be said that? Blaming him then seeking retribution isn't going to result in personal growth for you, so let it go. Focus on being the best you.
Quick , bring me the sick bucket.

I personally wouldn't follow up with an official grievance but if you have repeated issues with this person it might not be a bad thing.

Does he have issues with colleagues generally or just you?

Some of these responses Confused

I was once walking home from work and an aggressive man roared “slut” at me as I walked past. Obviously I’m a slut and this man was 100% right because there’s noooo way a man would ever say anything to belittle or demean a woman.
