Hi all, I've accepted a job which is hourly paid- I was previously salaried, I will be paid initially by the recruitment agency xx rate an hour and then once taken on by the company the rate will be xx rate plus the % that the agency was taking. Just looking for a ball park figure of what the % is. Thanks in advance

I think you will be shocked, when I worked for an agency it was like 20%, that was ages ago, so someone will come along with a more accurate figure.

A recruitment agency will charge us a 20% finders fee on an annual salary - we take 10-25% of all hours when using contractors - no secrecy though! We would not pay someone the recruitment fee plus their salary - you are lucky if that's what has been agreed.

Thank you both, just to clarify they are not paying me the recruitment % until I am fully employed by the company. All going well, it hopefully will be nearly 30% extra from my last wage.
