Any advice for starting work as a healthcare assistant?

Hi all. I am starting a new job on Monday as a healthcare assistant in an inpatient setting. Does anybody have any advice, heads-ups, dos/don'ts? Thank you

No advice - but can I just say - when I had my babies (20 years ago!) the HCAs were the people who I thought showed me an enormous amount of humanity and I have so much respect for the care they took of me. I hope you enjoy your job and thank you to you and all your colleagues.
