Leaving my job, can they still use my photo/ video footage

I’m being made redundant shortly and currently my photo is included in some internal promotional materials. I also appear in an internal only video relating to health and safety
It’s clear that it’s me, you see my face). I’m quite keen that these images are removed once I have left the business. Whilst they’ll recognise it’s not appropriate to use images and footage of an ex employee, it will be a hassle for them to be edited out or removed.
Can anyone advise how I stand on this? There’s no company policy relating to use of images but I’m wondering if this might be a GDPR issue, as I’m aware of the ‘right to be forgotten’.
Any insight from the folk of Mumsnet would be really appreciated.
Thanks!

GDPR allows you to withdraw your consent. Check with the ICO and also read your organisations privacy policy as this should set out how you withdraw consent.

The previous poster assumes they are using consent as the basis for using the OP's image. They may, for example, be able to argue that their use of the OP's image is covered by legitimate interests and that they have compelling legitimate grounds for the processing. Also, a photo is not necessarily personal data. It depends on the photo (a photo of a large group of people is less likely to be personal data) and the use being made of the image.

If I were advising the employer, I would tell them that they should remove the images as quickly as possible if the OP objects, but it is not clear that the OP has the right to demand removal of her image.

Thanks both for your responses
