Civil service T&C on promotion

I’ve been offered a promotion in another govt dept, meaning that I will transfer onto the modernised t&c. I’m currently on old terms as I’ve got 15 yrs continuous service.

Modernised T&C has the accrual of leave 1 day each year starting at 25 rising to 30 - does anyone know if my continuous service will count towards the annual leave calculation ie will I get the full 30 days straight away?

You should get the 30 days leave.

Service in the CS counts, so if you have already done 15 years you will get 30 days plus one privilege day.
