I'm applying for jobs for the first time in ages - can't stand my current workplace any more. I've been there 15 years ago i don't know what the done thing is re salary. On a couple of jobs it's stated the salary range, which is a little better than what I'm paid now. They then ask on the application my salary expectations. Should i put the top of the bracket, or should i go a bit over?
