I’m trying to work out which would suit Dd (year 12) best. She thinks she wants to work with young people in a mental health setting eventually. She’s very caring and empathetic, and good with people.

In a mental health setting they do work very closely! I would say that OT gives more options to move around and change your mind- you can freely move around between physical, mental health, neuro etc. OT shifts are also much more likely to be M-F 9-5 than nursing. Nursing will obviously always have a slightly Loren medical role in terms of handling medication and things like that.
