Any 'Usborne Books' Organisers out there....how do you compete with 'discount' companies?

That's the question really! I love the idea of setting up an Usborne business but know for a fact that the books are available at a much lower price as both myself and my mum are fans of The Book People.
Can an Usborne business really survive with those discounts available elsewhere?
