Hello all,

Wondering if anyone can help me.

Just taken on a 3 month contract, and afency are not acting as an employer with PAYE. I will either need to set up a Ltd company or use an Umbrella.

Right now, the easiest option would certainly be to use an umbrella company but which one?

Any one have any advice for me?

Regards
Shelly

I would go for a ltd company.

My DH started contracting last year & went with an umbrella company - which I think has now disbanded due to new rules. He would have saved a lot more money, having his ltd company.

Do some searching on google & get some advice from an accountant.

A Ltd company is the best solution.

I, however, am with an umbrella company as I know far too little about the tax and other implications.
