Probationary period and sick leave in civil service

I’m civil service, probationary period is due to end December. My first 8 weeks of employment I had no IT access. I’ve been off sick since September with pregnancy related illness, in and out of hospital.

Does anybody in the civil service know what should happen with my probationary period extension? As I’ve only had a few weeks actually able to work in this role.

You need to contact your HR team for advice. I hope you have had contact from HR and Line Management during this time. Hope the rest of your pregnancy is easier .
