Stuck in low paid jobs

Help1101 · 17/08/2020 18:10

As the title says . I have got myself into a rut of low paid, but very hard work jobs . My confidence is pretty low .

I have a degree , but feel embarrassed by my work history . Is there any way to break free of this cycle ?

What industry are you currently in and do you have any idea of the type of job you'd like to have?

How about a conversion masters like IT or similar? Or even an HNC / HND on day release / part time? Open University has great funding for people earning less than 25k. Arts grad here, similar situation.

@incenseandpeppermints Would she get funding for a second degree when she already has a first one, though?

What industry do you work in? Is there any way you could work your way up? (E.g. waitressing - supervisor - manager).

@Butchyrestingface should do - I am halfway through a 2nd undergraduate degree with full funding (all depends on circumstances though) I think OU has some funding for Masters too but not sure what.
