Prior to having my daughter I worked for the NHS doing secretarial work. I quit doing this to work as a retail assistant which I really enjoyed compared to the demanding nature of my job as a secretary. I fell pregnant during the retail job and I haven't returned to work yet dd is 16 months old. I have thought about retraining in something but I don't know what! I am also 29 so I feek like time is ticking if I want a career...I guess what I'm wanting is to hear of people but have gone back to study with small children and was it hard to balance study and family life? I don't want to miss out on my daughter growing up but I need to be able to give her more financial stability than what I'm giving her now.
